    I desired to be an esthetician because I had a fascination for skin disorders and why people developed different hair and skin disorders and skin diseases.

    I was also fascinated with different hair products and what was in them that caused hair to grow. Unfortunately, there were no schools for estheticians in the state that I lived in in the 1980’s, so I was instructed to go to cosmetology school.

    I completed cosmetology school in 1995. Chemical-based products such as the Jheri curl were very popular.

    Upon completing cosmetology school in 1995, I became vegan. I loved the weight loss I achieved and the overall health benefits and results. I thought it would be wise to also only use natural products for my hair and skin.. At the time chemical based products were popular and there were no 100% plant based and organic product options available on the market, that were beneficial for my hair type and sensitive skin, so I began making my own vegan hair and skin products.

    I began receiving compliments on how my skin was glowing, how beautiful my hair is, how quickly my hair was growing and how good I smell.

    I have been told that I look 15-20 years younger than my age and I have been asked questions like, “What is your secret,” “What do you use on your skin,” and “What do you use on your hair?” So I decided to bottle up my products and share them with the world.
